Telehealth has been available at Collins GP since it became fully funded by the government as part of its pandemic response, including CBT/FPS. The primary platform is HotDoc video, which reflexively generates the login link on appointment booking. FaceTime and Healthdirect (which is fully compliant with Australian regulations), are also available on request. Please verify with reception you have previously consented to receiving messages, otherwise we may struggle to contact you at the time.
Many standard consultations can be completed even over telephone, but physical examination is very difficult on video. Typically we undertake “triage” in the initial appointment, and invite specific patients into the clinic for further evaluation.
